I have gotten to the final stage in rebuilding a Suzuki GS400L from 1980 into a cafe racer. The final stage is ajusting the carburetur after I have put new exhaust pipes (more open = better Sound, in my opinion) and pod power filters on the bike. The carburetor is a Mikuni BS34 of type CV. I haven't done anything yet, but my question is - does anyone know if I can find a jet kit I can use (since it is of type CV) or should I try to go the manual way and just start with the main jets and just take it from there?
If I go he manual way:
Right now the main jets are 87,5 and from what I have read in here, this means the main jets should be 6 sizes up (102,5) +/- one size up and down (100/105) so I have somthing play with to start out. Does that sound right or does anyone have other suggestions?
