Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Snow fence up at the beach. Hardley any people, just snow fence.
Although the snow fence is not so much for blowing snow but for blowing sand.

I think I ride as much, if not more, in the fall than I do in the summer.

This morning three different people stoppped to chat about the bike.
All summer long, in this tourist town, the total would have been three, and now that it is not summer, three more in one morning.

One guy, about my age, told me his 86 Goldwing. He noticed the Suzuki emblems on the fairing and trunk and had to ask me about that. He seemed suprized when I told him that, yah, this is all factory stock.

Other guy, maybe 20, asked me what year it is. I asked him to guess how many years older than him. har har har But, Then I told him the year.
He said he always wanted a bike and told me about his friends that have XZRZZRXRZs (or whatever, sport bikes I gather) that they have to make payments on all year. I mentioned that an older standard style bike could be found for lot less money and get him on the road, but that he probably had higher prioritys than even that. I said he should concider if he wants to look cool and hangout with the guys on sportbikes or if he wants to ride.
He was there for a KiteBoarding competition, so I got to ask him some questions about that. (Kiteboarding: Have kite pull while on something like a ski/surfboard.)

Heck, it is going be almost 80 today. If it wasn't for the eye surgery I went thru on Friday, I'd be out.
Can't ride for a week, at least.
I love Fall riding but then again I love riding in ANY season

Get it while it lasts, all you poor unfortunate Northern park the bikes all winter suckers.

Hey Dave, in about three months come on down to do some serious riding.

Still very much hot and humid here in Florida, mid 90's with afternoon thunderstorms, hopefully the temps will drop down to at least the upper 80's and humidity abate in the next month or so.

Spring has sprung here. The leaves have changed from green to light green and the nightime temperatures have plunged down into the 60's. We still keep the good roads a secret from the poor tourist drivers from Michigan.

I hate you !

Oh Boy!
A cold front is coming this weekend, hight temps only getting to the high 80's this weekend. Finally going to get some relief from the brutal blistering summer! Just plain tired of wearing a sweat soaked helmet!

Florida is Flat, except for that area around Clermont, not too far from me.
People are dull, I've been alot of places, I think they're dull everywhere.
Riding a bike in Florida is "MINDLESS" yeah, you got to be out of your mind, right mind anyway to ride a bike in Florida.
But, we can ride all year round! Winter is usually better! That way you can put on a light jacket.

Three months.... Oct, Nov, Dec

Okay, Tom, So what is the Decemeber temperatures? January Temperatures?

Maybe I also have to specify the elevation?

.

it is 15 degress outside
it has been over 20 degress for the last week.

its still summer here.

Funny, "85 GS550" sounds like a balmy place with miles of winding, well-maintained roads through hayfields where it's perpetually sunny and warm.

It was 100 degrees today and is still 90 right now at 11 p.m. Gotta love Arizona. :p

my sweetie and i rode over to lake superior about 3 weeks ago to take pics of the trees changing colors.camped in a tent the first night, got down to around 35f.driving back the next day it got colder and pretty soon it was hailing, ten miles further it started snowing.with me,her and all our gear we're pushing 1200lbs on 2 wheels.needless to say we just pulled over and camped another night.but i have put over a 1000 miles riding since then.and plan on another 300 or so sunday to visit family.i pushed snow and fed cattle on an open tractor at 40 below for years so the cold dont matter but ICE does

Rode my bike in to work this morning. It was 1 degree C. That's about 34F to you southern guys. My face shield and mirrors fogged over in about 2 miles. I think the riding season is just about over for another year.

Mid 80's all weekend long over here they say. Nice riding weather. I've been having a blast lately on the bike. I finally have it in pretty stable condition, and I'm having a lot of fun on it. I'll be riding into the winter myself, but the winters are usually pretty mild over here in the desert.

I'm fixing my truck yet again, so I am on my bike full time right now. You should see me going for groceries-a bunch of stuff on top of my tank:o. I need some saddlebags or something.
