I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Winter is not my favorite and although this year has been comparatively mild for Western New York... It is still long and cold etc etc. It was a balmy 45 deg this morning and I got up early and changed my oil, installed the battery, waxed the chain and coaxed the Can to life after a long winters nap.

Went out for the first ride of 2006 and it was GREAT! A bit refreshing (read cold), but it was on 2 wheels \\:D/

What an attitude adjustment for me...I am actually smiling :-D

I gotta move south 8)

Jim,
the old can o tuna still provides some cheap thrills huh. I rode to work today for the first time since october. I have beeen fortunate this year and I got to ride at least twice every month this winter . But I am sooo happy that spring is around the corner too.\\:D/

Let that nice, new MAC exhaust breathe, huh? Nice...

Yeah Jethro ...my $1000 MAC.... Oh well .... What an adventure...

I can't wait

I can't wait

I have the worst spring fever!!! I bought my bike in october and got to ride it twice, but since i have never ridden before, it was kind of a disaster, but with the new handlebars and now that it's lowered i cant wait to get her out of the garage! But spring can wait a tiny bit longer so that I can get my carb work done!

I can really tell it's spring here, after the dryest winter in 100 years we are gitting our daily snow now. I am really not complaining because we need all the moisture we can get before the start of fire season.

The eastern part of the state is burning down along with Texas (grass fires) and we really don't want to have another bad forest fire season.

I have what is for me many "miles" to go before my bike is road worthy. But spring will be a better time to work on it!

Ouch,

Actually got a ride in today here in the great white north....

Surprised a couple of snowmobilers that were riding down the median. Still plenty of snow here (Read 5 foot drifts) but the pavement is dry and it was a balmy 36F.

Spring is just around the corner.....

Rock on Jim. I just noticed that my inspection ran out in October. I need to fix some lights and get her in for a sticker.

Rode to work for the first time tonight, I'm outside of Charlotte, NC. Really felt good on the GS1150. Looking foward to taking the long way home in the morning. Thanks for the inspection reminder ! ! !

I usually ride most of the winter, but this year, my bike has been partially apart while I very slowly have been doing some repairs. Guess I've just been kinda' depressed about it. I want...and am not ready to pay for it...hopefully, I'll put it together pretty soon and run it another few months. I'm really tired of not riding. I have this "master plan" that includes a newer sport-touring bike, a ford diesel truck and a travel trailer...all to come together in time to retire and go slowly away for awhile...guess it's time to stop living in the future and get into the now, huh? Oh well...

83 here today, hardly any wind. It was a great day for riding. You can tell spring is coming on strong though, on the way home tonite the bugs were out in full force. I have to admit it , I can't complain at all about anything, we haven't had much of a winter here and I've been able to ride all year.

Phoenix

Phoenix

Heh, seems to be the opposite here!

Winter was great for riding, now with the sun and the heat coming, I'm reaaalllly thinking about getting a car! Wait... nah... I'll just make an ice dispenser for my helmet.

It can't make up it's mind here. We were in the high 60's and sunny on Monday, Tuesday really windy and over cast, Wednesday over cast and cold (low 40's) with lots of hail, today we drove to work over fresh snow and it was in the high 20's when we left the house this morning.
