A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is to be used by folks who sell parts or services for GS series motorcycles regularly, or as a business.

If you are interested in providing parts and/or service to GSResource members it is expected that you will 1) keep customers informed on the status of their order, 2) you will reply to customer emails and PM's in a timely manner, 3) you provide what is agreed to in a timely manner. If personal circumstances prevent you from doing this, then you are expected to inform the customer before any transaction takes place. Failure to follow these basic business rules will force me to ban your forum account and list you in the Deadbeat forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The LED board rear taillight oem shaped plug and play

GhostRider

Forum Newbie
Hello members, I finally took her out for a decent ride today to give her the beans! And she did marvelous, next will be the OEM headlight swap-out and remove the Vetter headlight that came with it. Also a fresh set of 13' rear shocks, the 14' was a bit too long. Guys where do you order the newer LED rear taillight that is the exact oem mold replacement? That needs to be replaced for sure. Some GS owners have made this update already, I saw the new led taillight but now I forgot who lists it ... (Photo: this is an example image light board for the GS ...)

Since you are a newer member, let me offer a few things.

1. What bike??? Presumably a Suzuki, but there are a LOT of different tail lights. Once you figure out what you have, add it to a signature, so you don't have to mention it every time.
2. If you are going to be reducing the electrical load, please do yourself (and your bike) a favor by upgrading the R/R as well. The Shindengen SH775 is highly recommended.
3. I don't know of any LED replacement other than simply replacing the bulb with an LED equivalent.

So there actually is a rear tail light LED replacement that comes form Japan, and I found the link from Webike:
