Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Still got the sniffles...but its gettin closer...im lean now after my carb cleaning and ive found an intake leak which could be the culprit along with my mains being on the small side. Ill order some new intake orings from Robert Barr and some 125 main jets. Steve's coming by this weekend along with another close by GSR memeber to shoot the ****e and we're gonna put up these new shocks and possibly swap this GINORMOUS rear sprocket off of it...its way to big...amazing off the line, will stand the bike up it hooks up so hard, but its no good for highway use. i have a stock 41 tooth rear ima put on it (and i painted it black...looks badass) yeah ill lose some off the line grunt, but im willing to give that up for rideability...it winds out too fast on the highway with that big honker on there. If i get my rings in time, we'll vaccum synch the carbs and hopefully she'll be good to go.

I still need to decide on and order my cafe seat..still leaning toward that H2 style...you should check out CaliGS's ride...its sweet..thats an airtech XR750 harley cafe seat on it...turned out nice..

Well man im off to bed...ill catch ya tom. Fill me in on what you find on your valve clearances. Peace and Grease bro..

What's queen's park?

And whats your story TCK? Why you up so late?

Queens park is a provincial parlimentary building in downtown Toronto.
reason i'm on nights there is because im a plumber /steamfitter and the suits dont like the look of the lowly constrution worker

I manage a resturaunt...my schedule fluctuates so bad i go thru bouts of insomnia...plus i never really sleep more than 4 or 5 hours anyway...i dont have to work tomorrow till 4..ill crash here shortly and be up at 10...lmao

hey neil you good at fabricating?? i need someone to fab some stuff up for me, i can lay it out, i just dont have the tooling to do it.

I say fvck 'em man. Skilled labor makes this world go round! I was a mechanic in a past life. Now I work at The Zone luckily enough they close at ten so I'm always out early. BUT now I'm in college and it fvcking with my sleeping patterns real bad. I hear TCK about those bouts of Insomnia. I think i may be an insomniac also

fortunatly for me i'm in a good union.we work 4 nine hour days.but since i start at 6 pm our shift premiem is classified as an afternoon shift so i only work 4 eight hour night and paid for 36 hours\\:D/

And referring to the PM I also hear you about those triples. Odd numbers on engines don't sit well with me. Although Triumph triples are supposed to be pretty hardy. The reason I asked about yammies is because my uncle has an '80 XS11 Special sitting in his shop. I was wondering if there was anything special about it. I think I might be able to get it off of him cheap. LIke do some work on a weekend for him cheap

hey neil i listed a bunch of that chit i have over on the DTN site..lemme know..there's not a whole lot i really want off of it...dunno if you wanna keep that T stock or not but you could switch that over to rear disc pretty cake like id think..

heh..the DTT site even...ok now im wearin down....braiiiinnn drrrrrrrrrraiinnning......

Hit up Northerntool.com they have a sweet little MIG welder that is also a wire feed. Its pretty cheap the last I checked. After I get the bike done I think I might spring for that welder

Hmm highly sought after you say? Well I started looking it up and low and behold I found some on craig'slist going for $2500. I think I know what my next project will be. Unfortunately I hate selling anything. Chances are I'll get it, chop it, make it my own and then have a liter bike to play with.... wait where was I going with this. Thats a good turn out

Tck Pray For My Bike!!!!

Tck Pray For My Bike!!!!

I got around to checking those valves today and needless to say I'm a little scared. Well first things first, turns out that the feeler gauges I got aren't small enough. The smallest they go is .06. Which is no good because all the clearances are smaller than that. Like WAY smaller than that. I think they're all gonna need to be reshimed . Which I was hoping wasn't gonna be the case. Well tomorrow I'm gonna pick up another set and I'll take another stab at it.

GRR and to top it off my carbs didn't come into today. The guy told me he was gonna second day air them to me. Oh well atleast they're coming USPS so I might get them tomorrow.

And on another note spraying clear on is hard. Doing the black went alright. The clear just plain out kicked my ass

You might ask Steve on here what/where he got his feelers...or check Z1 Enterprises...they have a little pocket set, like Steves got that are pretty cheap and they go down to .01 or maybe even smaller...He's the one who pretty much showed me how to do it on these bikes too, good guy.
