    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Man I think I just learned my lesson on why not to miss any days from this site it took to long to catck up. TCK thanks for pionting out that z1 has those brake lines. I'm going to have to get me a set when I can start thinking improving my bike.
 
Hey elky how's it hanging.....

TCk, Bah fvck me man. Would you believe I can't get "gas safe" o-rings from any shops around here????? Gotta wait till Robert Barr contacts me back. Friggin gay! Those o-rings are holding EVERYTHING up. The only useful thing I could get done today was putting the chain on BUT I couldn't even finish that job because I couldn't put the sprocket case back on

Welcome to the land of setback..how can i help you?? LOL Did you just try to order them off his site?? The orings? how many do you need? I may have some extra laying around, tho i dunno if they are the same size, i can find out tho when i get home from work

Land of setbacks and I'm a new settler in town.... I wanted to talk to him first because I only need like half of them. Only the fuel tube o-rings. And nah they're not the same size from VM to CV carbs. Guess I should just put in my order huh?

I dont oft see him on here, maybe once or twice a week. So were i you, considering how cheap they are to begin with, id just order the whole set. Cant hurt to have extras in case you need em.
 
Good point. Yeah I'd better just order tonight so they can get shipped out tomorrow. If he checks his emails that is
 
HAHAHA!! I WON!!! for 199.99 plus 175 shipping!! Some may say that is spendy, but i cant find chit for a good motor around here! STOKED!! WOOOOOOOOO...see you in 30 mins..heading home now... lol :-D
 
Man I don't know what it was tck but way to go. It seems lately all I've been able to do is everything but work on my bike.

Yeah...thankfully. I was prepared to pay 250 but no more. I waited till 10 seconds left to put my bid in so no one sniped me for the hell of it. But no one else bid...good deal :)
 
Awesome. Looks nice and clean. Good deal. Is there any kinda insurance against it being shot? And it looks like you're motor now has less than mine.... BTW that reminds me can you tell me how many miles are on the odometer I sent you? I wanna write it down so I can keep track of how many miles I put on my baby
 
Well the add says its complete, running, and in good shape and repair..so thats insurance enough..if its not, i'll file a claim. But just from the looks of the outside it looks to be well taken care of. Yeah i can check that Odometer for ya..will post it up in a few!

yup that aint nothin on one of these motors...man im excited! I'll have a nice shiny motor, i wont paint this one. I'll paint my current one tho. That way if i decide i like it better i can always throw it in there. Now i need to find a basket case pre 80 750 bike and i can have TWO GS's...ohhh the thoughts of what i could do to the second! I GOT IT!! Make it completely STOCK!!! whatdya think?? LOL
