A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Sh!t even the repops of the old knuckleheads are expensive. 600 for a tank. 10K for a brand new Knucklehead engine. 2K for a frame..... I found a rear fender for 100 bucks though.... But bah. I'd rather buy a welder and **** away sheet and tube metal till I'm able to correctly produce my own frame and tank

This site may lead you to some cool/inexpensive parts?

Oi...just kickin the thread back to life....Howzit. Got the 550 running yet Riot??

No but almost man almost. Its so close I can taste it lol. I've been working my ass off and the school year started up again so alot of my time has been diverted. But I have alot of money! :-D I'm picking up things off of ebay like the headlight assembly and such.

As for the bike. Well everything is put back together and painted. The only thing left is the wiring. Meh. Although I think I'm just gonna get another harness. The PO hacked into this one unbelieveably

How's yours coming along?

I've stalled a bit since starting on that seat. Do have a near roller down there. Need a chain/sprocket set. Going to the 530 set up instead of the 630 OEM one. Got shocks. MDIs for now, but ive put in for a set of HO140 Ohlins from long_av8tor's bulk buy deal. Not really waiting on those tho. Picked up some new steering head bearings tonight, was gonna stick with stock, but screw it, got some tappered. Got a bunch of sanding to do on that seat. I hate sanding bondo. Thats probably part of the reason i havent done much. Need to pick up an elec ignition and coils for it too. Put a Tarrozi fork brace on it too. But getting there. Still will have it ready for spring. I kinda got way ahead, and have slowed a bit as i cant put it all together till the weather clears anyway.

Tell me about it. I hate sanding bondo also. I bondoed my f*cked up side panels but they've been sitting because I don't want to finish sanding them. I think I'm just gonna pick those up new also. Thinking about picking up some new shocks but I don't know which one's or from where. I was thinking about picking up some from mikesxs.com but I haven't found any reviews on them.... BTW did you know that Yammies come with progressive shocks from the factory?

Well i havent got them yet. And its been a week nearly. I sent him a mail today, cos he has yet to send any shipping info. Might be a jackass. If so i'll file a claim, see what happens, if i get no satisfaction at least it was only 20 bucks. you shocks eye to eye? I see deals all the time on those. Eye to clevis are a lil harder to come by. if they are eye to clevis try searching for honda shocks too. They work. I am watching a set of CB1100 shocks right now. 14.5 inchers.
