I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Third time

Wow that's looking awesome! I love the "Scream" mouth on the turbo pipe there. Is that a blow-off valve or something? I'm not really familiar with turbo's...

G?day mate,
It?s a manual blow-off valve. It?s secondary throttle, which is open when the main throttle is closed. When the main throttle is about 80% open, the secondary throttle is closed and all boost is going in to the plenum. By this way the boost rising rate is connected to throttle.

There is supercharger in my bike, not turbo...

Aaah ok, cool. That sort of makes sense to me :)

Sorry, I forgot you had a supercharger! I like the theory of a supercharger better than a turbo. I like the idea of power building steadily with rev's rather than something cutting in at a certain number of rev's. To my mind that makes for scary cornering if you hit that point in the middle of a corner

I get the engine running a few days ago. I think to run the engine as long as it gets a "normal" running temperature, BUT.
Oil temp was slightly over 60 C, when the head gasket starts to leak cylinder pressure.
I take off the cylinder head and all cylinder liners was under deck level. I take the cylinder block back to the machine shop.
The machine shop guy needs to take nearly 0.1mm from the deck before all liners were in the same level with the deck.

When I?m putting all together again, I?m going to install fire rings with the copper head gasket.
I made the fire rings from 0.05mm steel foil. We?ll see if it?s enough...

Now the engine is ok again. Now I can focus to made the rest of the missing parts.

New front fender on progress:

Really digging it. Like the choice for the round front headlight. The whole bike just has an awesome mean look to it. Do you have any plans to fab up some side covers for the subframe wholes?

Thanks for your comment!
When leaving the subframe open the whole bike looks lighter, so no covers.

Your fabrication/mechanical skills are to be admired to say the least. Seriously. That bike looks amazing. So subtle, and yet so much work to achieve what you have. It's rare to see something so custom, w/o looking over-the-top and in some cases, silly. VERY nicely done, sir. ;)

Mate that is absolutely fantastic!

Will you be hitting it with some paint or leaving the finish as is? Personally I think it's just right already :)

I have had a lot of problems to get the head gasket oil tight.
The cylinder block are machined two times after the first installation. Both time because the
liners are dropped down 0.03 - 0.05mm. I hope it?s ended now.
Also the broke through in the block starts to weep oil when the engine was hot.
Those broke through I painted oil tight with Permatex ultra black rtv silicone.
In the copper head gasket I have try to seal with VHT copper spray, Blue Hylomar and Permatex ultra copper rtv silicone.
Next head gasket will be Cometic mls gasket (I have ordered one).

Without mentioned problems the bike has been succesfull. It handles good, it?s fun to ride and it does not look too bad.

Last weekend I made a decision, I did?t want to wait any longer new head gasket. I went back to 1166 cc cylinder block & pistons.
At the same modification I raise the boost to 0.6 bar. Today I have been tuning the efi. AFR was too "fat" after the big block.
After today?s tunig session the bike feels ok. It does not have the same torque as with the big block.
Maybe in the fall or at least next winter I will install a Big block back.

The Screamer in the yard:

After the efi box updating there has been one setup wrong, which I notice yesterday when checking the ignition timing.
Now it?s ok and the bike is a real beast! I need to do something to the clutch. It slips until the engine temp is over 70 C.
Heavier clutch springs, more weight to the lock up arms or/and check the steel plates.
Anyway the engine pulls strongly from 2000 rpm to the redline :victory:
