I have some trouble after removing the carburator rack this winter for a rebuild.
When turning the handlebars max left or right when engine is idling I get an increase in the RPM - it goes from 900 to about 1700-1800 rpms.
So I suspect that I have routed the cable wrong - what is the right route?
It's my GS1100G -83 model, the cable comes staight up from the rack and bends about 90 degrees along the left side of the frame going under the left mount for the tank and then continues in a right turn to the throttle handle.
Any tips would be welcome!
