A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thumbs up to Tom Witt for his fast, professional, courteous service. I private messaged Tom on Friday, PayPal him Saturday, received my starter on Monday. Thanks Tom

I'm only 3-months late, but thanks for the vote of confidence. Just happened to stumble upon this message. ;)

I fully endorse all of the above and more. I spent a fair bit of time digging through parts bikes & boxes in Tom's heated basement workshop at his house. Great guy, fair seller. I have to meet up with him again for some parts to rebuild a bike for a friend soon.

Thanks for the parts shipment, Tom ships his parts out fast, honest recycler. ;)

Thanks to Tom he sold me an engine for my bike and it runs great saved me a lot of money. Thanks

Again I must bring this thread back. I bought some spoked wheels from Tom. Since shipping would be expensive, and I only wanted the hubs. I thought just break the wheels down and ship me the hubs. Well it turns out Tom and his family were coming up to northeast Ohio/western Pennsylvania. He told me that if he could talk the wife into making a detour he could deliver the wheels. The next thing I know he's pulling into my driveway with the whole family and the wheels! That is going above and beyond in service. We chatted for a few minutes then they left. Now I have some work to do cleaning up these wheels 👍

Pleasure was all mine. Love your GS collection. The 1000E obviously my favorite. Maybe I'll see you at the Brown County Rally, if I can get all the planets to align.
