    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

You can contact him via ebay or he lists his email address on his store site too. His prices are very competitive.

I sent him two dead stators I had laying around and he rewound one of them and gave me a discount for the 2nd one. I finally got around to installing it last month. Fantastic. 70VAC equal on each leg and for the first time it puts out 14.5VDC in the 10 years I've owned this bike. It even starts better. Probably due to the spinning Stator now putting out juice to help the battery. Tim's Phone 256-749-5459

This is far superior to the original and even looks better with modern insulation. You get to choose the connector ends you desire too.

I now have the confidence to go on a long ride again.

On this review I contacted Tim.He had the stator for my 85 750 in stock.


A nice piece at a better than competitive price.A bit of preventive maintenance for the 750.
