A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

It is amazing how much lighter the bike feels with the 4 to 1 in there instead of the old 4 to 2.
My L has individual pods and the stock four into 2 setup.I was going to change to a 4 into one like yours.I suppose you cant tell the difference much yet since your are still in dynojet changes.Mine has the stage one in it.It was odone when i bought the bike.I have no idea what the bike ran like before i bought it, but it is incredibly strong almost sportbike like on acceleration now.

I have some new pictures up on the site. Just a bunch of night time pics. I will get a bunch more during the Sturgis Rally this weekend.

what would the cost be? (I have a 1980 850L model)

I found these online for pegs
, but I figure that I would need the case saver to make these work. right?

Those were exactly the highway pegs I have. I just mounted them to the Crash gaurds that were on the bike when I got them. I beleive they are the stock crash guards that you can get from Suzuki (If they still make them).

Well, Got the carbs jetted good enough to ride, still to rich on the top end, need to do more work to the intake, however it is useable for sturgis :). It is in the trailer and we are almost packed, wish me luck. Going to be late arrival though as it is 3;00PM here and it is a good 8 hour drive to Hot springs, SD from here.

I am thinking right now in the unfinished metal version, about $79.You could oaint them, powder coat them,or whatever.i would be making aobut 10 dollars a set.no tax,you pay shipping.

i jst found out how to post pictures yesterday.i am off tomorrow, monday, and i amg going to buy one of those disposeable cameras and see if walgreens has some way of making the photos into a version that can be posted here.they probably do.then i will put a picture of mine here.they are so much easier to make than forward controls and quickly mounted.i am still waiting until tuesday morning to get the welding shop to hopefully make the last phases of my forward controls.he did say he would make several if i would give him at least 10 sets to do to make it worth his while.i would hate to pay for 10 sets and no one would be interested,so i will post pics of mine and see what response i get.it has 6 months since i started this project.the highway pegs took only 3 days, most of which was spent in deciding how they should look.many pepople will not how they look, but the rider comfort will offset that i hope.

I just got back from sturgis and have a few more pictures to put up. I will hopefully get those up tonight.
