You didn't get any pics of it did you? The air system has really worked good for me all year. I really love the slider and hope to never go back to a lockup. I'll keep the multi stage just in case, but I hope it collects alot of dust sitting on the shelf.

Sorry, I didn't take any. Very similar. He had cut up an MTC cover and used a small air pancake cylinder.

Is your website down. I wanted to take a look at some of the data you had posted from your logger. Can't seem to get on it.

All that top secret stuff, I had to shut it off! LOL

I canceled the PowWeb account last year. I need a free web host site. That's why I have been sticking my pictures on this site.

Any idea what it was that you wanted to see? I can always post them here.

We need to think about a new Winter time thead again.

I pulled off your old shipping blanket to have a peak. I never finished it because when I went to put the head on I rolled the thing over and noticed that it has a clearance problem. When they bored the cases they did not cut it deep enough and the piston skirts tag it. It needs to some back apart. No point risking it.

After not looking at it for so long, I like the look of the red. The little aluminum and chrome set it off.

It still needs the timing and starter covers along with a couple of other parts.

That red does look awesome. I like that clutch cover. Very nice looking piece.

I just wanted to see how your graph looks compared to the graphs I'm getting. Especially the speed and rpm.

I logged all my runs from Saturday. I forgot the laptop so I didn't get a look at them until I got home. For some reason the rpm was cut in half. I checked the settings and nothing had changed that I could see in a quick look. I'm going to Norwalk this weekend for the Classic so I just pulled the logger off and didn't mess with it.

I have a couple things going on for that winter time thread. It will start soon enough.

You did a nice job with it! I need to pick up a can of that to maybe paint the head. What was that stuff again if you don't mind?

No problem on the graphs. This is a partial screen dump. Yellow is the crank and red is the output shaft. Yellow cursor is on the 60'. Took about 1.32 seconds, crank is turning 7413RPM, output shaft is turning at 1813. Orange cursor is at 1351', crank is turning at 9340RPM and output shaft is 5468. Data is raw, unfiltered.

If you want a whole screen dump or your looking for something different, let me know and I can mail it to you.

Put new clutch fibers and 46lb springs, also the rear sprocket is a 42 now and I got the 2 dial controller hooked up and going to start at 50% nos for 1 seconds.

Final racing this weekend and we only have about 2 hours of test and tune tonight so who knows how this bike is going to act?? Like to get a few solid runs.

Heading off to Norwalk for the Halloween classic in the morning. Didn't bother going at all this week. I had to work. Gonna make the first round with no time trials. I'll flip a coin on the dial in. I figured I was going to go watch anyway so I might as well take the bike and make a pass down the track.

Good luck Ryan, who knows you might just get lucky or get a first round bye.

Did get to make a few runs and boy what a differance in feel going with a 42 sprocket. I might just go with a 44 just to be in the middle again.

I put the 41lb springs back it cause the 46er's made me look like a dirt tracker. 50% nos would spin the tire and 30% would cause a split second lag so I set it at 36% and it felt good. Ran a 1.37 60ft, 3.77 330, 5.78 1/8 at 121.85 so that's my best for this year \\:D/

Now it's time to pull the head and see what's going on in there :-k

5.78! Yea baby... Every time I set a new goal for the bike, it gets that much harder to reach it. If you get into the 4's (not 5.4s) we will need some video for sure!!!!

We have had rain all day. This was the last open day of the year for us but doubt anyone ran. Hope your ghostly event has some great weather.

I ran a 15/42 all summer. When the chain came off it chipped some of the teeth so I ordered up a few new ones. I plan to drop one more tooth for next year in hopes that I can finally turn up the boost. The chain was still well within the stretch limits and looks fine. I lube it at least once everytime I ran the bike and it's got no signs of kinking. This is an EK top fuel / funny bike chain and it weighs a ton. But it seems indestructable. The new one did come with a note that warns about not putting silicone on the master link.

The body is at the shop now. The chain went through it like butter. The motor only has 4 runs on it so I plan to just check that the clutch gear is still ok and then call it good.

That be nice but I think my frame can take much more, might have to step up to a bigger tire.

I 'd be happy with a 5.59 or a 125 mph run, I got 4 months to work on it now. I really can't complain cause the bike been running pretty good and nothing broke this year.

LOL! I doubt I will see one in my life.

The second owner of the flag bike had 60's in the teens. It launched so hard that the sprocket bolts were bent over when I bought it. It only has 6 bolts. The frame was also cracked in a few places. A lot of time was spent on the frame to strengthen it. Now days the bike has a much easier life with its 1.27 - 1.30s.

The best I have ever had was a 5.32. I am sure the previous owner was in the low 5.20s with it.

I always wonder why there where 8 bolt sprockets around, now I know :)

I've only seen one bike in the 5.30's around here with a mph of 135, that is flying.

Maybe with a good wind I could run that fast. My best ever was 132.75 with it. I bet between the bike and I, we have over a hundred pound extra than the last owner.

Well the classic is an interesting event. They had real close to 1400 racers there. Ive never seen so many motor homes in my life. Saturday was threatening in the morning. They got most of sportsman off and then the rain came. Every time they would dry the track it would start raining again. I gave up about 6pm and headed home figuring there wouldnt be any racing until Sunday. Got a call from another racer who told me the tentative schedule was to put the bikes on the track 8:45 am.

Got back to the track around 7:30 or so. We got the first round call about 9:00 am. Lets just talk about the air for a minute. It was MINUS 139 feet DA. Decided to put 9.31 on the bike. My best pass to date at TDR with a tail wind. Both of us were way slow on the tree. He had a 9.29 dial. I was looking at his front tire to half track. After half track I started pulling away. So thinking I'm running too fast I started letting off to let him catch up. I might as well call it like it was. I let off so he could pass me and thats exactly what he did. Came right around me at the stripe. MOV was .0142. I should have learned from the other times it's cost me. Never lift until the stripe. Anyway the slip was a new best 1/8th mile.

The 1/8 mile time tells me it was gonna go about 9.26. the 1000' tells me 9.30. So in the race of champions I keep the 9.31 on the bike. The DA was up to 390 feet. I figure to slow down by at least 5 and decide to believe the 1/8 mile and figure I probably lifted before 1000'. I get matched up with Norwalks track champ in a 7.76 dragster. He runs 7.765 and his light was an 016. I was sleeping again and ran

I should have went with the what the 1000' was telling me, slowed down by the 5, and I would have run right on. Anyhow we had a good time. Got to hang with friends, got to watch some good racing, and even got to make two passes myself. I think the dragbike is done for the year. I have some of that VP left. I may throw it in the hayabusa for Thompsons last weekend and see what it will do.

Nitrous burp?

Congrats on the new record.

Hay Jake, way back when you showed the pics of your nitrous kit, I thought it had some nylon or teflon tubing going to the foggers. Did you keep this stuff on there?
