All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Bought me some o those killer cheap Kendas once, put em on my first bike, an 80 550 l. BAD idea, that thing slid around in the rain like bad, even when dry,
Kenda make a great dirt tire and that's all they are good for, but the challengers failed at that also.
I would trust my 12 year old new old stock Metzler me50 or whatever it is first.
Sorry you found out this way for sure.Glad your Skillz are up to par to have kept you safe.
Stick with tried n true always.this is why I fear ordering a new dish at a favorite restaurant.

Plus one on the Sport Demons. I've got 7000 km on mine and am still outside the wear bars. Where did you get them for $150 ? Mine were $265 shipped.

I put a Pirelli Diablo on the rear of the SV after the Indiana rally. Rode in Arkansas last weekend and the bike cornered like it is on rails! Got it for $125 shipped from Dennis Kirk. Don't expect long life since it is a "sportin" tire but I love it so far!:dancing:

I have at least 5000 miles on my shinko 712's, they're starting to flatten in the middle, from highway commuting.
I only paid $40 or 50 for the tire, so it's all good.

i may go back to the 712 for the rest of the year, since i wont be riding in winter again

Best tires on my G are the Michelin Pilot Activ. Pricey at $ 230.00 for the pair but the wear was good for me @ 14,000 +. There about a hundred bucks more than the Shinkos but if you work out the cost per mile there a bargain.

got my new 230 rear in today..still running kenda front for now...but ive noticed a huge differnce from the kenda

i retired the already bald rear kenda with a nice 4th gear smokie..
