Hi everyone,
I have a question on the rare and elusive 1980 GS250T. I'm planning to take the engine out of the bike to my school where I'm taking a small engine repair class. But the intake boots on the engine are 40 years old and dried out. I have looked on line for new ones for my bike , but cant seem to find any. So I'm wondering if the intake boots from the Yamaha TTR 125 would fit the bike seeing as they are both technically 125s ( the GS is a twin 250). Would this work, and if so would the dirt bike boots handle the generally higher speeds of the street. I cant see any reason why not. Thanks. (Added picture because old bikes are cool)
