JUST A WORD OF CAUTION
I had my 850 valve seats machined, wonderful job.
I re-assembled the head and started to do the shim adjustment.
The exhaust shims went from about 2.70's to 2.40's.
The intake shims went from 2.70's to 2.37, 2.30, 2.15 and something less than 2.15 which is the problem.
I should of had the valve stems ground down by .4mm on the intake but never thought of it. Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there another solution to the 2.15mm other than taking apart the head and grinding down the valve stems?
