Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Wrapped up a few more paint jobs, and thought it was fun to do an Italian, a British, and a Japanese bike all at the same time.

'67 Triumph TR6. I love this factory paint combo. So pretty.

You're doing work for people in Australia?? you do get around don't you. Beautiful work as always, I doubt any of those tanks looked that good from the factory.

Nice work Larry.

That Ducati is sweet. As a kid, I lived in Rota, Spain. I remember my father had a Ducati, I think it was a 350. The tank was yellow with a chrome insert. Kind of like the BMW toaster.

Maybe I should scout one out...

That Triumph green is very cool.

Fine work!

Fine work!

Larry,

As per usual, your work is beautiful.
Maybe one of these days I'll get the chance to send you some work.
Of course, at this rate, I may only get to say "I knew him when....."

Best,
Don

Thanks, you guys. I've been very fortunate in the last year to do some really cool bikes, again, many of them from this site. I'm doing another Cooley for a member here, and Joe's VF1000R right now, too. I'm grateful for the support.

Aaaaah Larry you've done it again... and again... and again... :D

Love your work, and I love seeing you posting pic's of your work as well. It's definitely an art form to be shared :D

Love that Trumpy scheme and the Duc... and it's an Aussie Duc? I s'pose if he can afford to fork out $50K for a 750SS he can afford to fork out the shipping costs for you to do the painting too :D

Very nice work Larry

I didn't know that Ducati continued to make the 750SS after 1974

Thanks, Pete. I guess I should explain the Australian owner. He lives here in Spokane. For a number of years he owned an aluminum (racing) boat building business. The kind of boats you see racing in 3 feet of water around a tight coarse..crazy fast. He just sold the business, and is now in the process of returning home. The Ducati was a total bolt by bolt restoration. He's incredibly capable. The only part that he farmed out was the paint. He needed to get it appraised for it's return to Australia, and 50K was what it came to. As much as I'd like to say that I'm now doing work "internationaly", I can't....yet...

Hmm..maybe I mis-heard what year he said it was..I was pretty sure he said '76. The guy knows those things top to bottom, so it might be my mistake. I'll give him a call and see what he says.

Aaah I get ya. I've seen a bit of that racing on TV, yeah that's certainly different!

That does explain why you're doing paint for an Australian :)

If I win the lotto you can redo my 450 for me and get started on your international career ;)

Confirmed. It is indeed a 1976 model.

Yeah, I looked it up also and found images similar to what you painted. I guess I only saw 900SS bikes from 1977 on

And, I thought that the 1974 750SS was the only year they made that model

You learn something new every day!
