Hey everybody,
I have a 30/year-old bike and before I finish up all the rebuilding and tuning.. I also want to change the fork seals. It's probable they haven't been changed since the 90's and they're obviously leaking. I just want to know if there is a good tutorial on this process floating around.
I have a 83 Gs450t. Otherwise I will change the seals and any appropriate parts using my best intuition and resources. I know there are highly recommended tools for this kind of job.
OR is there a chance mine may be okay. I can see the inch of the fork oil above the seals and I'm assuming that's a 100% indicator of the seal not doing it's job and risking more problems.
