    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

We are finally there!

Forum Sage
Hey everyone, not sure how many members that were on here a few years ago still are. Long story short I had a gs650gl that I decided to rebuild and do a bigbore kit to make faster, 2 years later I finally finished it and decided to keep the motor stock as its never going to be as fast as I wanted.

Thanks to everyone who helped me on here over the years whether it was parts or technical help, all of it was appreciated.

Not sure If I'm going to keep the bike or sell it, I still have to take it for a ride and see how I feel but either way I'm more than satisfied with how things went.

1100s, I hope? .....................:welcoming: SACS (Suzuki Advanced Cooling System)

kinda lol

i have one 1100 roller, 4 750 frames, and a 750 with a b12 that needs a bit of work to be roadworthy, all of those are slabs, and then an 89 750 frame that i will probably build up first.

as far as motors go i should have enough setups to make 4 1100ish motors, i have a bunch of stuff lol..... the plan for the 89 is to use either a 1052 or 1127 cylinder with a 750 dothead head and cams, best head to use. but really i wont know what it'll be until i get to that point, once this bike is done and my zx7 is close to finished i will start building an engine.

i do have a complete 1052 engine but it will be sold, the reason is its more a collector motor than something you modify, its really an orphan of the family, not much shareable parts at all.

heres the 89 if the photo works, its been completely torn down and is going to be done right.

Good to see you're still at it. There's a pretty good chance I'll be spending a lot of time in the Tampa area this winter, hit me up if you care to.

Just watched the video. Nice to hear it finally run, but it will run even smoother if you plug that air leak on Number 2 intake.
