just wanted to know what the firing order is on one of these.thanks.

It would be 1,2,4, 3. Pretty standard for four cylinder wasted spark bike engines.

do u mean the clutch handle or the clutch it self because its on the right of the motor??thanks for yalls help.

clutch handle on the left. interesting the clutch is on the right of the bike? Isn't that backwards? Normally rear brake is on the right of every bike I have seen

OP is being a knucklehead. Clutch lever is on the left side of the handle bar, same as the #1 cylinder. However the actual clutch is on the right side of the engine.

OP, do you per chance have the engine mounted in a go-kart? If that's the case than the side with the stator, front sprocket, starter, kickstand, shifter, and where the clutch cable goes into the engine is the #1 cylinder.

The side with the actual clutch, ignition, and oil sight glass is #4.

Hopefully you can figure out where #2 and #3 are.

Going from the left side or the right side of the motor?
I am guessing from your username that you don't have your GS engine in a bike. :-k
Pictures will be expected.

Regardless, any reference to left/right, front/back, up/down is all made as if you are sitting on the bike.
Cylinder 1 is on the left, under your clutch hand. Cylinder 4 is on the right, under your throttle hand.

There is a test in most service manuals that shows how to test the IGNITOR (it's not a CDI box).
I have not done it, but I think it involves using a single flashlight battery to trigger the ignitor into making a spark.
There are two separate sides, one that fires 1&4, the other fires 2&3.

Just in case there are any doubts this is the way the cylinders are numbered from left to right as you are sitting in the cart.

BTW it looks to me like the coils are not connected up properly. The spark plug wires to cyl #1 & #4 must come from the same coil, as must the cyl #2 & #3 which both must come from the other coil. It looks like one coil is feeding #1 and #3. It won't fire up like that. If it still won't start then swap the primary wires on the coils.

i fixed the firing order it runs good and sounds great now, i drive it and got down on it,and it bent the rear left frame part becuase it was running so good so now thats got to be fixed.

Sounds good, hope you can get it fixed. Maybe too much power for that frame/chassis.

P.S. Don't kill yourself in it. It looks like a lethal machine.

it might be....i will try not to lol.thanks again man.

Hi,

That cart looks either way too fun or way too dangerous. Maybe it's a little of both. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

i got another Qs which color wires needs to go to the #1 and #4 coil? and which color wire needs to go to the #2 and #3 coil??

The orange with the white stripe is 12v and either one can go to either coil. The white wire goes to the 1&4 coil, the black with a yellow stripe wire goes to the 2&3 coil.
