What part # - Front MC KIT 1977 GS750 - Help

This is on a 1977 GS750 B, Single front disk (actuallly made in 76)

I ordered a part the suzuki dealer said would fit (part # 59600-33810) The diameter is fine but the boot doesn't fit (too big and the kit looks completely different than what came out).

Ok, so I find that a 59600-45811 will fit (according to the dealer) and looked similar to what came out. Well the diameter is to big. (16mm)

I have a 14mm bore on my mc.

The only other part I can find is a 59600-45821.

Will this fit????

I could really use some help, this is stressing me out and I am tired of wasting my cash.

Any knowledge appreciated, Thanks

59600-45811 to big of piston/cup Diameter. = 16mm

59600-33810 Piston/cup fits fine = 14mm. The boot/dust seal that covers piston is to large in diameter to fit.

I think you'll find the 14mm kit is correct

The boot appears too big because it needs to fit in the groove in the MC

Thanks I will look at it again. The groove only appeared big enough to fit the e-clip.

Well I got to looking at it.

I definitely believe the 59600-33810 kit is the wrong part # even though Suzuki says it fits my 77 GS 750 B.

(There are too many variables between 77 - 79 for 1 part # to fit all, and I have found 5 different factory part #'s supposed to fit.)

Heres my reasoning the 59600-33810 does not fit my bike.

1. I have no groove for the bigger boot/dust shield to fit into.

2. The e-clip was way to small that came with the 33810 kit.

...Unless I am missing something, Which I doubt.

So I decided to try to get this kit to fit so I can get riding again, using the washer that came out of the old piston kit (to hold the piston in place) and a new (bigger) e-clip I luckily had. Now I am having problems getting brake fluid to flow through the system.

So I am still looking for a solution. I am tempted to get a aftermarket MC and Clutch kit to resolve this problem, (so at least they match). Any insight would b appreciated.

Thanks for the reply's.

Got it figured out. I wish the Suzuki parts catalog was not so watered down.

FYI to the single disc 77 gs750 B Guys, front brake kit is 59600-45821.

The Suzuki catalog has it listed wrong.
