I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Just curious on what you guys think is a fair price for a titled Gs750 bare frame......I mean bare no nothing frame only.........;)

I guess it depends on the availability but $100-$150 with a clear title would be reasonable. No luck straightening yours?

Aghhh....its as good as its gonna get .....It rides straight....the bent forks were the wost part, after a good set from Chef.....It rides straight....I can take my hands off the bars and she dont veer off to either side. Nice and straight..........

But I Figure Im stock piling all these parts for this project, I mine as well spend a few bucks and get a unmolested frame............

Parts bike

Parts bike

Most parts bikes have been molested and violated. You can look at it two ways. One, a bare frame is a good way to go. Lite and easy to transport. You can clean it and spray it, transfer parts and your done. Buying a parts bike leaves you to get rid of the remains or store the clutter. I personally would by the frame and restore done deal. Bmac

Typically they get 50 + shipping for a frame on ebay, but now ebay required titled frames to be listed as a vehicle complete with their ridiculous fees for doing so. I had a frame pulled from the good old bay because I didn't go through their vehicle listing. That might have changed recently but I'm not sure.

Obviously the type and year matters. A rare Katana frame is going to fetch more than most of the L frames, all things considered. The one frame I managed to sell on ebay before the policy change I repainted it and still got 50 dollars for it, not worth the trouble. It was 650G frame.

I have a 1982 GS750 frame untouched. Most in this area go for about $75 with bill of sale and $100+ if titled. Shipping these days is a complete other nightmare.

Dont waste your time on Fleabay for a couple days. Only thing listed are 1 GS750 swingarm listed a SG750 and a GS550 frame, but its an '05 and going for $400.

Ive got a titled 79 "L" frame I will sell ya if ya want it. You'd have to change the front tank mounts (cake) and i "think" thats it?? or maybe you have to swap sides with the seat hinges...They're otherwise the same..
