A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Whats going on in your garage

Funny that the stock Busa will run a higher MPH and only a little off your dragbike. Maybe it's time to sell the dragbike and get another Busa for the track?

That would be the ultimate. Bet it would run mid to low 9's with a stock motor. Would need alot of work. Frame would have to be raked, another swingarm with bars. Billet inner hub and basket. Fuel injection would have to go. Doesn't work well with the 2-step. Unless you used a throttle stop as the 2-step. That might work. All the busa parts are expensive. it would not be cheap.

I would lay money on that. Our local winner from last year runs solid mid / low 9's on a stock one. Longer swing arm, slick, slider and some times a little N2O. Seems like you have given this a LOT of thought!! I think you should do it. Pass one of your 1150 cranks onto me when you do! Your missing one key part, the Turbo! LOL.

I managed to finish up the engine tonight and fire it. Link is a 600K video of the first start with the new FBG head, your buds cover, Web cams and the BFT. Now if I can just figure out how to drive the stupid thing I'll be all set.

The BFT tucked back in there. Good to have it back on the bike.

I finally got the Mighty Buffalo far enough along that I could take it for a spin... Wow what a fun bike to ride!

That is sweet. I keep thinking about a new bike and the more I think about it the more I want a two-stroke again.

1981 gs850gl

1981 gs850gl

Over the winter, I restored this gs850. I put the fairing with lowers (lowers not on at time of picture), cyclesound, and successfully painted it with .96 cent a can Walmart spray paint. I also put side covers on it, a tach seal, oil filter and plugs, and the saddle bags. It started out pretty rough. It is not perfect but much better than when I started.
This is driven daily to when the weather cooperates. Has 34,000 miles on it. It was fun working on it.

The garage is still full of projects. this current one is almost done for a local dude. Braced and POwder coated frame to 1166 kit and lots in between. Motor went in yesterday cosmetics will be back from paint in a few days.

As you can see in the background is another potential BEAST. I have a 1428 that needs a cradle..................
