Register to access the full functionality of the GSResources forum. Until you register and activate your account you will not have full forum access, nor will you be able to post or reply to messages.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

What's in a GS tool bag?

We have never seen the photo of what you are considering. :-\\\

Ew, THis is an interesting mystery ... or psyguy is the one pulling something.

I dont see any picture with psyguy posting. Not even a red X, not even a URL address, not even a link. Maybe its like the water going down the drain swirling the other way or something like that. har har

Inquiring minds want to know.

It's definitely because their toilets have the water swirling the wrong way. There definitely is no pic!

Well, it's nice to have confirmation. :o
Besides my original question:
Where's the kit we are comparing?

We have never seen the photo of what you are considering. .

Maybe it didn't make it accross the pond.

I guess it's good that his curiosity about the tool kit is satisfied, now if only the rest of us could have our curiosity satisfied about his supposed picture? :-k

Psyguy, since you say it's there, how about a screenshot? Do a "Print Screen", save it, put it in Photobucket (or whatever you use) then post the screenshot that shows your picture and my original question following it.

.

no, not joking... there are a couple of large photos that i posted (visible to me) in this thread.

dont know how to make "print screen" but heres the IMG link:

Photo051.jpg

can you see it now?!

.

It's funny, that. The photobucket link shows up, but the kiwibiker link in the first post doesn't, at least here.

The wire thing is missing so the toolset is incomplete.

You should have a "Print Screen" button somewhere on your keyboard, likely in the upper-right corner. Press that, it will record whatever is on your screen onto the Clipboard. Open Paint or Paintbrush (if you are using a Mac, whatever your photo program is), start with a blank 'picture', hld the CTRL key, press V to paste the Clipboard into the picture frame. Now save it and post it to Photobucket, then post the link here.

Yes, I can see the picture now, don't have any idea why I (and several others) could not see it before. :-k

.

ok, dont worry about the content of the tools set as i now know what's in the original bag.

but here's the printscreen for steve:

Thanks. I wonder why so many of us could not see it. :-k

I might understand it if it was just my computer, but with several of us?

.

For the record, I couldn't see the pic either.

I bought a new one from PartShark and gave the old one to the boy for his 550. The new one has the wrong wheel nut wrenches. It has a 27mm & a 22mm when I needed a 17mm and a 24mm. You're better off getting the used one...
