Wheel Bearings Spacer

Afternoon folks

I have a gs750l that I'm fixing up and want a more e look so I found an 18" rear wheel. It came as just a rim and when I checked the parts fiche the centre bearing spacer appears to be different from the L to the E. Does anyone know if I can use the spacer from the L on the E or is there something specific that makes them different?

As long as the spacer ID allows the proper axle to pass, it should be okay. Realize that the smaller displacement bikes often used smaller axles, so you may need to upsize as appropriate for use on a larger bike.

Did some measuring tonight and the 16" rim has a wider bearing face to bearing face distance so looks like I need a shorter spacer and possibly some other things to make this work.

Usually you need to switch to the bearings and spacer from the bike that you want to fit it to. Some of the 1100 - 1000 are a straight swap.
