A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I'm looking at wheel bearings for my '80 gs850g. I see a description for "6302-2NSE Nachi Bearing 15x42x13 Sealed C3 Japan Ball Bearings" for about $7 each. Anyone know if this will fit or what the difference is between the 6302-2RS and the 6302-2NSE? When I looked up 6302-2RS at VXB ball bearings website they listed this bearing as well. Looks to be better quality and I don't mind spending the couple extra bucks.

"I bought some of those bearings and they seem to be a cut above the common Chinese made All Balls bearing motorcycle kits.

Did you buy the 2RS or the 2NSE?

Go into any transmission and bearing shop you can get them cheap, then when you get home pop off one seal on each bearing and pack them with more grease then put the seal back on. Your bearing will last longer than your bike ever will.

Nachi are very good bearings.
I use them for various applications including Suzuki wheels and VW alternator bearings and VW fan belt tensioner idlers. Very good...actually never had one die yet.

I just went to an industrial bearing dealer and found all the wheel bearings for my bike there. They were all rubber sealed which is good that and you can pop the seal and add a bit more grease to them when ya need too. Never ever use the bearings with the metal seal, they are not true sealed bearings.

I don't think Nachi make a "2RS". Open that link I provided to see the different part numbers. 2NSE is the same thing as other manufacturers 2RS.

I ordered the Nachi 2NSE - I noticed them being used in the tutorial on Basscliff's site.
