A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'd love to find something like that for my 450L 8) Doubt there is one though, not much stuff the the 450s. No 450 love

Claude is right, that looks like a stock 1150 fairing, with the mid fairing ( sans belly fairing though, kinda a cool look)
You can see an 1150 upper fairing on an 1100 E here:http://www.msnusers.com/DCreighton/1100e.msnw
I am not planning to get a set of mid fairings (like to see the motor) but I am thinking about a chin fairing and definately a new screen, probably from powerbronze.

What's the white line down the side cover? Some kind of repair of a crack or break, I guess.

I'm surprised it's already at the Reserve.

I personly think the best looking GS was the GS1100ES
blue and white with the little nose fairing "Sweet"

Chin fairings?

Chin fairings?

looking for a lower universal chin fairing that i can put on my 78 gs550. Anyone know where i can get a new or used one?

also ment to say that i'm not a big fan of the windfairings but that one is actually pretty sharp. If you find a supplier let me know

I just bought a fullfairing for my GS750ES (just the bottom pieces, they attach to the origonal) for 20 dollars or.. as he put it.. a case of beer.

I was driving down the road one day and this guy pulled up next to me, told me he had a full fairing for it, I pointed to a nearby parking lot, we talked for 5-10 minutes about how he used to have my bike when he was my age and was in the middle of modifying it when he sold it, but kept the fairing. He came over the other day and said he'd be happy to get a case of beer out of it. He said he paid 70 dollars for one of them, the other came with the bike when he bought it, and was just gonna throw it away because it had been laying around. Unfortunatly they're different colors, none of which match my bike, and theres a little damage on the left side from being dropped. Oh well.

powerbronze.co.uk

They've got several "universal" fairings for older bikes. This one is listed for a GS750ED/ES/EF

335 GBP, plus shipping. Kinda pricey....

The problem is, it's hard to find a Powerbronze distributor in the US.....

You should check Powerbronze's website, too. They've got a huge selection of Streetfighter nose fairings and chin scoops.....
