    A note to new registrants...
    All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

    A Special Note about Email accounts!
    DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I wonder if, someone can proof read the schematic in question, particularly, in regard to the descriptions of the TSCU connections.
This dia, about GS1000G ('81) turn signals, has been ispired by relevant posts here on GSR, is partially complete and will be posted, when finished (common grounds missing) in a bid to provide a less cluttered and compartmentalised visualization of of the electrical heart of our bikes.
Thanks

This is what I got, so far;
but I'll be back!!

GS1000G 1981 (X) USA (E03) Product Number: 3883049200 CMS Product Number: SU0015.0892 superseded by 3883049X00

GS1000G 1981 (X) GENERAL EXPORT (E01) Product Number: 3883049200 CMS Product Number: SU0015.0892 superseded by 3883049X00

Thanks for the pin-pointing.
That's one of the threads I was referring to.
But, my dia should be about the '81 GS1000G, maybe another essay will be about the '80, the GS450/850 GL's and so on, so I hope being correct (or corrected);

Yes, updated post #1 with the year, sorry.

I do hate being direct thus understanding of people shunning from direct questions;
but, for the sake of avoiding possible ill effects on global warming, by overabundance of posts and replays, would you Jim say that: #1 wire from left of my TSCU artists impression, IS NOT or MIGHT NOT BE the power, and, #2 IS NOT or MIGHT NOT BE reed switch 1...
and so on??
Thanks
P.S. do not tell me "it might/might not" or else I might be riddled...

post #77

So you are implying that the connections of the TSCU differ from the two models (850-1000)?

I'm pretty sure I implied you should read the indicated links.

Matchless (Andre) has done a lot of work on this and I'm sure it has saved me a lot of time not having to research as much on figuring out what the problem is. Andre has graciously posted those results and modifications here at the GSR(along with a lot of other write-ups). Others have helped as well (Thanks Steve and Rusty and others that have worked on this problem)

I dare not hasten a guess for two reason:

1.) I know not which TSCU you are referring to
2.) Once you know(which TSCU) it ,would be a simple matter of inspection to answer your question (yourself).

#I seemed we was talking about an '81GS G 1000 (inverting the addends, the result is the same)

#2 it's 04:02 in the morning, does not he thinks, messing with machinery at this early or late, would raise some form of concern, in people around me?
And on top of that, why trample over forums, if one has to figure everything for himself...
Now, answer that...

I'm working on a 40+ packages of dual UML instantiations of RM-ODP for a bizzplan inside of a concordat; sorry I only come up for air.

OK, take your time and, once you're done with your unifying esperanto, come up with a debriefing answer.
It's really that simple, and oh, good diagramming, and to me a good night.

P.S. And don't lemme wake up to an an answered question...! Boxes musta be ticked!

I could not possibly live with myself knowing I had stunted your personal development by spoon feeding you.

Well that's a good point...
You allready has to spoon-feed, by describing them sinthetic analytical projectual solutions, whomever pays for your motorcycling past-time, so I take it as a mind-balancer, the (purported) "office for the complication of simple affairs" approach...

Yes, indeed this stunt was for my personal enhancement, but, I also had in mind, the C.O. looking for reassurance and a simple(r) path to fix things, the F.O. assessing the worthiness of a project and, why not to the nostalgic P.O. regretfully lurking in the forum.,

See how many potential profiles, you could unsettle, by persevering in your semantically prone demeanor...?!
