    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Wolo Horn

I put a Wolo on my Hilux, here it is underwater, still works, and I use it all the time. :)

I'm going with the Hella Supertones. VW used their predecessors in the Jetta back in the 80s. Damned things were loud, clear and surprisingly small.

Didn't know they were that inexpensive. may just have to make a switch. I think I'll take another look at the Wolo over the weekend and see what the issue is but I really like the more standard look of the Hella's for sure, this wolo is an eyesore
 
I've had the Fiamm Twin Tones on my bike for a few decades, they work well and currently cost $20. Set up with a relay.
 
After reading this thread knowing I need better then what is now on my bike I thought WTH and bought a set of Fiamm twin tones.
On the way as this is typed.

Well my horn smashed into my fender and the the air tube was half in/ half out of the horn. I have located it upward and zip tied the cage of it back together, working better now. I looked at Harbor Freight and the newer model looks a little bit better made

Attached to bike and half the wiring done via relay.
Plan on finishing my last three solder points and tucking the wires in sat morning when I get off work
Had to test it.

Should have tested it outside the barn and not inside!
Yeah, they are loud!
