DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

For those of you who aren't familiar with what the people at Racefit do, here are a few more pictures.

My exhaust will be somewhat similar to the one seen on this Spencer EVO bike (owned by a British guy).

Got something nice in the mail yesterday. Found these on eBay for cheap. Like new and bolted onto the bike without any mods, so now I got awesome brakes too. ;)

PFM ductile iron discs. :)

No real way to test them now though as it's below zero most days now and ice all over the roads. Oh well, gives me more to look forward to next season. :D

Not much going on at the moment. Still waiting for the exhaust to get finished by Racefit in the UK. Should be done sometime next week.

In the meantime, here's two progress pictures of it.

Absolutely gorgeous work..and that Superbike is one of the nicest I've ever seen..except for the Suzuki Bandit engine in it..blaspheme..:D Sure looks right, though. I believe it was just featured in a recent Cycle World issue if I'm not mistaken. Makes me drool, for sure.

Got the Racefit exhaust today. Wasn't really expecting it since the tracking for the package still said it was outside of Stockholm waiting to be dispatched.

Oh well, I'm not complaining...

Here's a bunch of photos of it.

Tasty.

Aluminium spigots anodized black (fit like a glove in the exhaust ports).

Downpipes. Can't wait to see them all blue and purple once they've seen a bit of use.

Collector and linkpipe. I can't tell you how beautiful the welds are. They are almost better on the inside of the pipes than they are on the outside.

Slip joint for the muffler. Super snug fit. It oozes quality.

Porn welds.

Laser engraved logotype.

Full view.

It's gonna sound throaty. 2?" straight through all the way from the collector.

Your seat continues to be the bold statement in your design. You might have to switch to black tape to match your new tank. That is a different one right? Your old one got dinged in the crash?

Who cares about the new tank?! That exhaust is spectacular!!!!

I can only imagine how stoked you must be. When can we see (and hear) the video if it running?! I never thought that welds could be so sexy. And the brushed finish is gorgeous.

Side note about that tank though (because its black and red and sticks out), is that the same tank as the previous one or a different year. I don't remember the inserts in the knee area being there. Did you fill them before? Will you fill these?

Maybe the sarcasm was too subtle.....Probably should should have said

AWESOME BIKE!!!!!

Lol. At first I was going to say that's the sexiest PIPE i've ever seen (pun NOT intended)...

Thanks for all the comments guys! :o

This is your fourth exhaust right? Why all the switching?

Gorgeous btw!

Third.

The first looked like crap (except the muffler).

The second (the latest one) looked great but I think the lines didn't match the rear of the bike properly.

The third: best of all worlds. :)

We (me and my old man) got ourselves an early Christmas present. What you ask?

A 200A AC/DC TIG welder. Should come in handy for future projects! :D

DSC_0002-64.jpg

All in all I think it landed at around $2600 for the welder and everything around it. Expensive as hell some would say but a welding job here and there for a few people and you've earned back that sum in no time. :)

Also tacked together the new hanger for the exhaust. I think it looks pretty good!
