A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
I'll await your comments re. quality & function. His feedback so far is limited to knee pucks & tire warmers. Racefit is now marketing in the U.S. as well, but as you said, their Growler C/F can costs several times this one. I planned on having a mid-pipe custom bent to accept a modern Yosh RS-3, but the diameter of these GP-syle cans being smaller, would look more fitting on our older GS bikes, I think.....also, these are less than 1/2 the Yosh price and very current, in terms of looks.![]()
For future reference I posted a snapshot of the auction. Nice looking pipe. Carbon fiber is nice. I have never considered that due to the price.
Normally you wouldn't consider stuff from China that costs less than half of something over here in the west. But fact is that just because it's Chinese doesn't mean it's low quality, in fact, they are probably just as good as many of the exhaust manufacturers over here. Their labour costs a fraction of what we ask but they are still great craftsmen.
Stuff you should look out for is Thai copies. No matter what it is - it's junk.
Sorry, I think you mis-understood what I ment; I would not have consided a Yoshi Carbon or other US manufacturers as they are very (too) expensive. Yes the Chinese make most everything these days as the manufacturing technology has been exported to there by most of the industrialized nations.
BTW, Bikes coming along nicely
Well done...great project, luv this stuff!
Fits like a glove and as far as I can tell - works perfectly. Huge chunk out of my pocket but well worth it. Been hunting for these for a long time.
It is really nice when things work out and the anxiety of buying somthing that doesn't work disappears.![]()
Where did you get those gorgeous velocity stacks? Me want....

I have a quick question about the gas tank...I have a 1984 GS1150 ES and my tank came stock with big rubber tank protectors on it. I pulled them off but there are now big ugly recesses in the tank from where they were, but I noticed your tank has niether...did you fill them in with something or did your tank come without the protectors?
SUDCO sells the velocity stacks. Ray.Where did you get those gorgeous velocity stacks? Me want....
