50 laps into a 2 day track session, pulled into hot pit hearing noises, first session of second day, starter clutch grenaded again is my thought, my day is over, heard engine digest parts into sump, or so I thought. Went for one more lap to see if awful sound continued, it did not. Rode the rest of the day.
My Idle Gear (IG) is 17/70 tooth if I counted correctly, can I run a 1100 big taper rotor/SC/IG with 1150 starter motor? Thanks if anyone knows.
The helicoil on the rotor was the only thing that didn't appear oval. 2800 miles to this. I guess now I can show someone what the starter clutch is made of and have it welded like RRay has been saying all along.
