    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I just placed my first order with Z1 the other day.......I messed up my on-line account with them, called them & talked to Rob......what a nice guy....e-mailed me a confirmation a few minutes later that the order had shipped!! Now thats FAST! They will be getting my buisness in the future!!!
 
Z1 is great I purchase a lot of stuff from them and the service is second to none on the phone. Very knowledgeable. they even took the time over the phone to measure a fuel cap gasket they had while I measured the one on my bike. They didn't have the part I needed but you can't win them all. Highly recommend them.
 
Received more parts today, fast shipping as always. Also sent an e-mail asking about coils, wires, and ignition parts, got back to me quick with some info I didn't know prior and links to everything, next payday the 550 gets a new ignition system :D
 
z1 has always been polite, accurate, and quick. They are not always the cheapest but they are the best. The right part the first time. Easy to use website, And great staff. Can't recommend them high enough.
 
More kudos to Z1...
Waited 2 weeks for 'another vendor' to fulfill a parts order for Mikuni smooth-bores; they kept saying that the drain plugs were backordered. Frustrated, i canceled the order and reordered with Z1 last Thursday and had parts in hand Saturday... that's 2 days folks! And and and, saved about 25% with Z1. :clap:
 
Received a few hundred dollars in parts last week, great service as always but I must say I was disappointed that they didn't put in the usual z1 stickers.:(

Called them I'm sure it was just an oversight. When I ordered from Z1, always got 1 or 2 stickers from them.
 
I ordered a 530 chain conversion from them.
Great to deal with with, fast shipping and great customer service.
 
Swapped out a month old set of grey Dyna coils for green ones. I have nothing but good to say about my dealings with them over the last few years. I wont buy from anyone else if they have it.

I know it's not the same, as getting it from them, but I do have an extra one, would you like me to mail it to you

I got my chain and sprockets, a 9 pin connector and pins today and one of the coveted stickers that doesn't have a kaw engine on it :lol:
 
I bought some more parts from them the other day, I'm always amazed at how fast the shipping is, I ordered Monday and got it Wednesday afternoon. They were even nice enough to throw in a clip masterlink for my 530 chain (comes with a rivet one).

Ordered tuesday, got thursday. Very well packaged.
Its nice when you can tell someone thought "Hey, maybe they want their valve cover gasket packed nice and flat so it is not bent in half when they get it"
 
Thumbs up to Z1 and Jeff. It was my first order from them and it was not small change. He quickly and properly resolved a delivery issue. I was so pleased, I bought more stuff to add to the replacement order.
 
Ordered a stator gasket and fork seals last Monday and had them by Thursday:eek:.

I have been using them for a long time. It would be great to meet everybody in person!
 
Z1 is just... awesome.

I ordered a bunch of valve shims and a cover gasket, had them two days later on the west coast. They were out of 1 size i needed, and boulevard had the intake boots a bit cheaper, so i also placed an order through Boulevard. 5 days now, and my order from Boulevard hasn't even shipped yet. That would never happen from Z1, consider it a lesson learned!
 
Ordered from Z1 Friday morning.
Z1 Shipped that same Friday.

Arrived here in Florida Monday.
Couldn't be happier!!!

Highly recommended!
