Just south of Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada are two small lakes named: Snafu & Tarfu. Good pike fishing too!

I rebuilt a shower- tub faucet today. Parts cost 1.87, less than half hour work . No more climbing water bill.Comment

Lube'd the speedo and tacho... tacho seemed ok but speedo was definitely not looking right on Friday... hopefully a bit of DWF frees it up.Comment

Decided to check out why my rear brakes were sticking. ummmm I had made a silly mistake and let the pads wear down too much, it was running metal on metal.
I was very lucky that I had not scored the disk.
Also waiting on a set of o-rings from cycleoring.com (love his sense of humor) and I will rebuild the carbs and then re-jet and fit pod filters.
Sad this needs to happen in summer, as we are having some pretty good riding weatherComment

More km's
Seems the speedo/tacho lube didn't really do the trick last night so after talking with John82q today I realised I'd never pulled the innards out and given them a good clean, so did that tonight.
Just gotta get some silicone based lube and they can go back on again.Comment

Well with my 68 camaro off for a winter paint job i am Finally getting around to my Suzuki project.
79 gs1000 motor, instrumentation and wiring
80 gs1100e frame and body parts
2002 bandit front end with trees
83 1100 rear wheel
So far so good. Tried installing bandit rear wheel but sprocket hits the swing arm when i centered the wheel. Ill try to install a radial on the 83 1100 rear wheel later. Anxious to see what it does when she hits the road. Should have it running by christmas.Comment

What have you done to improve the engine?
Can you start a thread in the projects section please.

Sanded and primer'd the 1996 CR80 dirt bike I am rebuilding to sell for more funds for the 82 GS550 Katana I'm rebuilding. Will finish painting the frame tonight and finally start getting this thing together so I can sell it! Can't wait so I can get back to work on the Zook.
Oh, I did manage to loosen all the exhaust bolts on the katana earlier and they all came loose without breaking. Whoo Hoo!

Ok I'm a sucker for big old American iron... so what's a Roadmaster? That is an awesome looking dash there...
As for me, I pulled the gauges off the 450 and got the bezels off ready to clean and lube them to try to sort out the sticking speedo and bouncy tacho... cables have been done.
Now if I could just work out how to get the tripmeter reset knob off I'd be laughin'...Comment
