I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Interesting

Is enclosed. Is abaondonded. Is round. Is domed.
ANy concern for it collapsing if made any sound?
Any open pits to fall into?

No open vent for light.
Ah, you point bike headlight into there?

There are a bunch of those domed structures spaced far enough apart that there would not be a chain reaction should a mishap occur. Property is managed by the Game Commission. The one I was in, door was open. Every footfall is amplified and echos very loudly. Nearby trails are mowed. So they know it’s open.

Got my little princess back on the road again, after 4 years of arguments.

Is like summer time again here, but without the humidity, Good!

Went north of Muskegon and wandered around to a few places I havent been before. Just look for something on GPS, say, a park on a creek or something, and then go in that direction.

Pictures here of familiar/prominent road along LkMich.
Pic, lower right, can see on horizon the Muskegon-Milwalkee High-Speed Hydroplane Car Ferry.

Was nice to have a working fuel guage again.
(but still muttering about the cost.)

Managed 7-20 minute sessions at Ridge. Poured rain the night before from 11pm-6am. Then the sun came out.
1st session was rather damp, but the rest of the day was most pleasant. Only 45 riders total in 4 groups, so lots of open track.

Havent been getting out as much in last 2-3 weeks.
But did yesterday afternoon.
Just a little ride further out of town, then back, and stop for something to eat.
THe prontopup closed for season, the beach burritto closed for season and most all the icecream plaes closed for season.
But good ol' Ray Burger open year 'round.

The place is pretty much unchanged since it opened in early 1960s. Is room for about 5 people to stand there inside, order, then wait and watch them work. I like thier fish basket, but got double burger and shake.

Got out for my usual fall shake down ride before putting the bike to bed for the winter. Insurance expires soon and highs next week are just above freezing. Bummer that fall colours are about 2 weeks late this year.

I had opportunity to ride this Sporter1200, yesterday. On a rescue mission.

A long time friends son, that we have known since he was a baby (but havent seen in a few years), just got his first bike this spring.
Crashed his foot (and not bike apparently) into a parked truck on a dark street there (or that is his story). Stopped a few houses later, and fell over, with his foot (tennis shoes) pointing in wrong direction, under the bike.

(maybe that is what happened, or I suspect could be maybe something with foot/leg falling off the forward controls, or loosing control at speed and putting out foot......)

They asked if I could ride bike to his house about 25 miles away. Picture when I meet them there at the scene, a few hours after release from hospital.
Ah, unfamiliar bike, fairly loud exhaust, forward controls on bike that just has crashed.
Ah, I would prefer to trailer it.
Friend and I Pushed it up on my trailer so didnt even have to start it.

By the time we were unloading at son's house, the son said the "pain blockers must be starting to wear off", and he wasnt smiling as much as this picture.

I went out for morning coffee ride.

Justin sent this pic....

Yah think they invite the ol' man? Nope.

Seems that they picked a fairly good weekend for October.

Justin: Tiger 1050.
Jay: FJR1300ES.
Yah, Jay, guy with Harley tatooos: riding FJR now. I like to say its because I had my RT in his garage the 5 years he was in California.

Beautiful fall night with the South wind bringing some warmth and humidity. As I left town I rode past the info sign at the elementary school which showed the time and date. Upon noticing the date the ride became a bit of a victory lap...
8 months ago I was in the hospital due to a self induced siezure. Self induced as in caused by alcohol withdraw...
It was a good ride tonight.

The weather lately has made me not want to go out for a ride.

There’s a Lisburn, Pennsylvania and a Lisburn in the UK. Where are you? Make a new thread in the GS Owners Forum and introduce yourself and your bikes. Unless you’re just here to sell Jewelry making tools.

Glen, a seizure caused by alcohol withdrawal seems like a really good thing, Keep it up... Love your great "FALL" picture.

Yep, exactly how I took it... again a great (well worth while) seizure. Congrats, Proud for ya, and keep up the good work.

You were really that hard core? Wow, I thought you were just a regular dad type.
Very good!!! :applouse:
PS: I was never hard core alcohol, but I was smoking way too much pot back in 2023. Quit both in March. They just made me feel weird & stupid, not fun anymore.
