    Hello All,

I must confess I've been reading the forum for nearly 3 years now (and what a useful resource it is) since getting an unloved '79 GS750L off my brother.

I restored the bike over the winter 14/15 and been using it for runs to the local bike meets (i.e. the pub) in what counts for a summer over here.

I also run a 2009 650 Bandit day to day as my commute, prior to that Ive had a selection of H***as and an almost 20 year long addiction (now thankfully cured) with Guzzis.

I'm almost ashamed to admit I've joined today as I've run into a problem I'm struggling with - hopefully one of the knowledgeable fellas on the appropriate forum can help.

    Kind Regards

    Andy

      Hi Andy and Welcome.
      Nice looking bike.
I see you have Guzzi time.
Starting, running and stopping is normal for some bikes

          Thanks All,

I've got an intermittent misfire which only seems to happen when the bike is not only hot, but has been standing hot for a bit. Please see post under electrical / ignition.

          Regards

          Andy
