So sorry to hear about Soul Trevor, always heartbreaking to have a pet put to sleep. But so good to know he spent the last two weeks of his life in a safe, loving home.

My neighbor has a puppy, about 10-12 weeks old, an Australian Shepherd / poodle (Aussiedoodle?) named Drake. He's a rolypoly furball and he and my wiegle (wiener beagle) Rocco have good play times, even if they look like fierce beasts here.

Wife and I went for walk with fluffy fluffy foo foo doggie, in a park that has a floating walkway over a swamp-marsh.
On the walkway we heard a sploosh.
Stupid doggie had jumped in.

He turned around and swam back.
Wife panicking that he was going to go under the walkway.
I had to lay down on the walkway to grab him.
Water was all mucky with hunks of rotted stuff.

An other occassion we went for walk downtown.
Lots of other people walking dogs there.
Here he is, the fluffy fluffy foo foo doggie in a dog party with three Burmese Mountain Dogs.

I understand they are "just getting to know you" . . . . . but what is it they want to know?

Well our Oreo is still upright...lol...it was 15 months ago that the vet gave her 4-6 months because of bladder cancer.....We take daily 2-3kms walks...she plays with her toys still and goes with me everywhere that I'm not on a motorcycle....today she came with me to my phycologist appointment where she made the rounds to any office with an open door...lol...I love her so
Not to shabby for 13 and a half years old.
Yes, we look alike...lol

16 and a half years ago we adopted a one year old English Coonhound....
This past weekend she let us know she was done.
Today we visited the vet for the last time.
Her 3 year old brother went with us to say goodbye.

Goodbye Lucy....We will miss you.
Here she is ten years ago.
