You need some tires that aren't made of hockey puck rubber. Those look like they are 100 years old! Get something modern to go with your modernized bike!

Well done Don! Nice looking scoot!

Those front brakes look like they could slow down a freight train! Wow!

      Enjoy!

Tom, I know they don't look that good, and I do need to get something better. Not sure on their age but they do need to be replaced. Have had other issues to contend with, motor noises, etc.

Also tires are going to cost me half the value of the bike again. Any suggestions for cheaper priced good rubber.

But I can still continue to run the motor in on these tires until I can get some others. It does handle surprisingly well though around corners. Probably because the tires still have a nice rounded profile. Drops into corners nicely with no real effort required.

OK, you just scared me with the comment about locking the wheel. You still using four fingers on the brake lever? Those new Shinkos are supposed to be pretty good. I like the Avon Road Riders, kick ass tires, but I don't know about the pricing down there. Just bought a set for $150 delivered. Want me to ship you a set?

Haha. The freight would be more than the tires are worth.

Maybe one day I'll pass through Australia and I can drop some off for you.

Well there's always an offer of a thrash on my bike if you get here.

Woo Hoo, I'm working on it.
Last time I was in Sydney, it almost killed me. Twice.

I just priced a 100/90V19 Avon Roadrider AM26 for my front and I was quoted $181 for one tire.

How is it that we have to pay so much for tires (Oz and Canada) and THEY get them so cheap. Like less than half of what we have to pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
