How do I replace burnt valves?

Might work on a bigger bike, but didn't work on my little wee GS650G.

Actually, it's only the 450 and 650 that have that style caps. All the other bikes with 2 valves per cylinder have screws that are readily visible and accessible.

Yes, if I recall my old 550L had 2 phillips-head screws on the outside face of the caps. These are a PITA.
