    GS1100 / GS1150 Clutch Swap Possible?

I've got a GS1100 clutch hub built with a heavy duty backing plate. My question is whether it will work on a GS1150.

My 1150 had an 1100 inner sleeve for years. l never even knew until a year or so ago.
Not sure about the whole unit, but my guess would be yes. Maybe compare part #s online until Ray Chef, Blowerbike, et, al check in. They are generally quick to reply with 1100 / 1150 questions.
FYI, the 1150 sleeve has a steel insert. From the little I've hread, it's questionable about wether or not its better.

      If I recall....

The 1100 basket will go into an 1150 but an 1150 won't go into an 1100 ... as I recall. But then I don't remember what I had for lunch yesterday.

1150 hub with 1150 crank or 1100 hub with 1100 crank. Do not mix the two.

87 teeth on 1100 hub, 89 on 1150. As Dar said, do NOT mix!!!!!

And I was thinking that would be a worthwhile upgrade. I have several 1100 clutch hubs that have excessive wear in the splines. I guess the 1150 just moves the problem to the outer splines.
