Here is my great pretender. Got a new sponsor who sells Yamaha, so while the FJ motors are being built, this is what he gets.
How good are you at identifing the parts?

"Nicely done heads" is what I call my company hear in Florida. Is there another company in your country with the same name. I am in the process of getting all the paper work to become a LLC. I have sent a couple of heads to the land down under but they were GSXR heads

                Hi JD,

I only meant Nicely , as in Nicely Done, Not Done by Nicely. I ported it myself with a spare head over a few weeks, was a bit conservative , but my butt dyno definitely says it is a good improvement.I know I should have got it flowed checked/ and a dyno comparison, but a bit short on the coin side of things , so gave it a go anyway whilst cleaning the spare head up. Had .020 milled off , and recut the valve seats etc as well, will post a few pics if I can work out how to get them under the required size.
                Cheers,

That's cool. That is how I started doing my own heads because I was on a budget and I got a lot of good advice from a few great engine builders. The first head I ever did myself was also for my 82 Katana 1000 in the late 80's

Well I got rid of the street fighter look and put a stock headlight on it. I painted the bucket to match the wheels.

What size hoses have been used to build your top end oiler?
                            Thanks!

                                cool idea.

it reminds me of the strategy in "need for speed" video to reduce heat from the cops. When they are looking for the demon running around on a purple bike... Walla he has disappeared.
