Its a kerker, not the chrome ones tho and it looked pretty awful, i cut of 2.5 inches to give it a reverse cone look since the edge was smashed up anyway, ground down the welds and stripped
the coating and finally polished the crap out of it and finally sprayed it with high heat clear... holding up as of yet but expect to have to redo it yearly.

Ah, I've only heard one Kerker in person (they seem not so common over here)... it's on a Kat and it sounds great. High heat paint by all reports is definitely a regular touch up deal, I expect to do the same on my Kat.

I really love your work, she looks the goods and I'll bet is fun to ride too!

Thanks. She has been a long time in the making.
Could not save stock pipes. I needed a tetanus shot just for looking at them.
Airbox was another item that was not able to save.
mice had a hotel set up in it.

GS450 L. She's still a work in progress but I like how it's coming along. Still need to figure out side covers and change out the front winkers. I might see if I can change how the tank is mounted... not even sure that's possible though. It's been lowered front and back, clip on bars, rear fender chopped, front fender removed, new brake and clutch levers, new bars (I might mount them under the triple tree yet- right now they are on top), new lighting, new seat. The bike lost probably 30+ pounds, so that is sure nice. And I am very short, so it is AWESOME to touch the ground on it. It runs PERFECT, so I don't think I'll fool around with pods or exhaust any time soon.

Cool! If it runs good, I?d probably back away from the pods as well.

Thoughts? Just picked this up a little while ago. Replaced the seat (the seat had been modified before me... I promise this is at least a slight improvement). What should I do to make it look better? Any saddle bag suggestions so I don?t have to always wear a backpack to work with me?

I bought this a month or so ago. It is now broken down into as many parts as it is possible to do. A full re build is now under way.
