          wheel

You send it to Kosman and he machines the stock sides down and then welds new wider sides back on. I am saying this because with the tire off you can see from the inside where it has had the new piece added on each side of the rim. turns it into a 6" inch wide rim that will now hold a 190/55-17" modern tire. The previous owner did the wheel. I am sure it was not cheap. I am going to put the GSXR wheels and brakes I have on it and take these in the picture off.

Thanks, I have not run it since I set the tappet clearances.
It ran good before, so it should be better

Rat-ish mod in progress...here is the current state. So far it's just a lot of paint and black duct tape. I'm in Wisconsin so I'll have all winter to work on the big mods. With a little work this should have a lowered back end and a solo seat by spring as well as some nifty knobby tires covering up the chrome on the fenders. After that It's probably gonna be a collection bike of sorts. Lots of keys and baby doll heads, skulls and other bits of dead animals, cargo nets...you know the sort.
