That's why the 2K stuff has an activator button on the can to mix the hardener in and the can has about 12 hours of shelf life once mixed.

Great stuff! Lays out beautifully, not much post work to be done to it...

SprayMax now offers a 2 part (2K) Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat. This 2k urethane Clear Coat spray has a much higher U.V. and weather resistance than any standard aerosol clearcoat on the market today.

This may not be what you had in mind, but this brushed-on horror show by the PO is certainly cheap, reduced the value of the bike considerably
in the process:http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/s...Parts005-1.jpg (helped me get it for $300 a few years ago)

The links to the other threads are lame.

This is not my bike, not my paint.

                          [IMG][/IMG]

Not me, I didn't paint this one.

                          [IMG][/IMG]

                          Portdave painted it, not me.

                          It's not that hard.

I did my last project myself. I used appliance paint that I bought at Walmart. Covered great. I used SprayMax clear coat and did some wet sanding afterwards. I even cut my own pin stripes, not the Honda logo. $15.00 for that, $8 in paint, $3 in vynal, $23 for the Spraymax.

Oh, $5 for Duplicolor for the frame.
