He doesn't like to get the bottom of the centerstand, that oil level appears to be a little on the low side from what I can tell, and what's with the nylon tie straps on the front forks?
Actually Trevor, it's absolutely stunning! Bet you can't wait to get out there for a ride and get a little road grime on it!
I got to get out and "dust' mine off, they're about due for their annual bath. Thanks for the inspiration.Comment

It's called CENTREstand, lol.. and you are right, guess I will have to do that now.He doesn't like to get the bottom of the centerstand, that oil level appears to be a little on the low side from what I can tell, and what's with the nylon tie straps on the front forks?

Oil level is good, just changed it and the zap straps were still on from measuring slag for the new springs, just don't have it right yet.

you bike looks excellent man
im currently in a process of doing the same thing to my, except im doing it myself
(also replacing some leaky seals while at it) here is a picture of one of my covers, in process, that has at least one more trip to a finer buffing wheel. my question is, is there a clear coat i can spray over this or should i just use wax?
ps. the right hand (clutch cover) was done a few years backComment

True enough, but if you host your pictures at a site like Photobucket, Flikr, Picassa, etc., you can copy the link to the picture and paste up to TEN of them per post.
When you do that, it can look like this:
here is a picture of one of my covers, in process, that has at least one more trip to a finer buffing wheel.
it appears that i can only attach one picture at a time. medium buffing wheel.
fine buffing wheel, still not done, one more step to go
You can get all the details on how to do that by clicking HERE.

no clear coat........
most of the polish's will leave a residual film, that will protect the part, so all you need is to polish and buff once it starts looking dingy again....
I use this stuff, as have others on the forum

Key Features
- Non-abrasive
- For all metal surfaces, brass, copper, sterling silver, aluminum, stainless steel and gold
- Removes tarnish and oxidation
- Provides lasting protective coating
- Can be used with buffers and polishers
