Pilot jets - black, round, rubber, plug AGAIN ???
O.K. So I know that I need these plugs in the carbs for sure ! The old ones seem in good shape , but fit back in and out very loose , should I buy new ones or is that the way they should fit ???

They should not fall out if you put the carb upside down, if they do buy new ones. At least that's my thinking on the matter. -
Yes they should be squishy enough not to fall out but not like this:

Those ones in the pic above were "new" from some eBay seller and were only installed for 9 months before they turned to mush.
I'm guessing it's the crap fuel we have these days.
