    Great work so far, Dan.
Your workshop looks as crowded as mine, only you are getting things accomplished.
Now....about the brakes on the mountain bike. Are you going with the twin-pot upgrade on the single rotor?

      Dan,

Where did you get the headlight clamps?

      Nice work!

        Joe,

A lot of this stuff is custom made to my design, those clamps are one such item. Luckily I have access to a full prototyping dept with work so I can get a lot of stuff done in 1's & 2's at relatively low cost. Made in China - eekk

I can give you the drawing if you want to have some the same made up locally. They are for 41mm fork legs.

Steve - I did run twin piston brakes on a mountain bike in the alps once, they overheated, the single piston with the biggest rotor you can find seems to work best for downhill

I like the bottom of the two decals. What would you think about using the X from the GSXR logo too? Afterall...that bike is somewhere between a GS and a GSXR....

Cool project. Can't wait to see how it turns out. And I like the bottom decals better. Good luck.

Might be a case of lining them up on panels & seeing how I feel at the time.. I did think about using the X or maybe the R.. Like GS750R

              Decisions decisions....

Wait a minute - of all people, you should be suggesting use of the X. I mean, you're from the part of the world where his bike IS a GSX.

But I do like the idea of gs750r. I guess you can't go gsx750r, because then you'll look like a poser.

Nice build! IMO I like the top decal. You fabricate the fork brace? what's the plate thickness?

the only "gsx" part i use on my bike is the GSX1100 forks. ,the rest is either GS, GSXR or home made, apart from the kawasaki caliper

Something like this seems to be the best R option...

Either way would be good. I lean towards the bottom one. ...good stuff!

Would love to see some better picks and details of how you did the rear swinger and got a 5.5" inch rim in. I like you build.
