Guess I didn't break any monitors thenYeah they're red all right.Yes I have seen that user name Allen, good thing I had mine picked out before.I'm kind of liking the yellow gills.Had a funny thing about keeping my real name off here, kind of silly.

Sold what was to be my wife's 400S leaving me with nothing to do this winterSo I've been on the hunt for one.Went to see this today http://victoria.en.craigslist.ca/mcy/2387524431.html .He had people give him insulting offers,I told him I wasn't going to bother. He phoned me later to see what I would offer, told him $300.I could see potential the but just a little to much work.Emailed my friend AZR33 about it.Seems he has picked up a 80 GS1000G and has this

78 gs1000 project he would like to pass along. All the parts are there so it looks like I have a skunk in my future.A skunk is my plan for the paint to.You guys know I can do this and make AZR proud.
Edit:Yes I'm doing a build thread.Probaly won't be much going on till Old Yeller goes away for the winter though. It's got papers, real happy about that

Just wasn't liking the peg carriers in silver.

                  So I changed them.
Clean up day around here, picked this up to do small batches of paint baking

                  Works good!

I happen to like the yellow..anyone that says they cant see you coming needs their license revoked on the spot..
                    MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
                    1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Thanks Chuck, grown very fond of it to.The Skunk will be nice but this is my first real heavy duty job cleaning up a bike like this. She will have a special place in my heart.Let you guys in on a secret,I like this bike more than the 06 SV650S I had before it.
Picked up one of these today

Should make syncing so much easier.Think I'm going to have to do one to check it out

Wanted better picture of Old Yeller so took a little trip around Sooke. Some of the best:

Had someone watching me take these ones

                        Didn't bark,just watched.As I was leaving he went home.
                        A couple more

                            Yup, definitely!

Looks about 1000% improvement on the original

What am I supposed to say?Was told on a local forum I'd take a $200 bike and make it a $201 bike.Think it may be worth a little more than that!Since I'm crass talking about money. parts sales have about covered the initial purchase price of the 4 bikes.

Whoever said that's a knob... I reckon over here you're probably talking $4000 - 5000, and seeing as we're about double the price of them there, that should make it about $2000 - 2500 for you... $201 my a**... you done good
