    A 20-year orphan

Dragged, blinking, into the harsh light of not-day, the other GS prepares to meet its fate. With a cigarette dangling from the corner of its mouth and a sneer on its lips, it dares the filthy swine to do their worst.

                I'm almost jealous .
No matter what you do to it , it is going to be better than it is now . That includes using a match .
                What are the plans ?
Get it running and leave it cosmetically challenged ?
                Full resto ?

                Have fun .

                Cheers , Simon .

Yeah what is that, a single carb feeding all four pots?

The carb setup on this is the same as the other GS850 in my keeping, for the same reason (1). This one is wearing a Stromberg CD175 (1.75"), while the other now has an SU HIF38 (1.5")

I really should consolidate some of the bits and pieces into this thread, as it's all about the '79 bike.

                              Here's the Ignitor Saga...
