Some updated pics from over my vacation.
Painted rear shock
sanded down the kz650 tail
painted spring
Ground off the old upper shock mount bracket
Made a stop for the triple clamp
Before and after cleaning some rear shock parts.

Did a bit more over the last couple of weeks
ripped apart the shock and rebuilt it. Need a couple of seals tho.

Made a new rear shock bracket.
Decided to do a different shock bracket.

Put it together quick, wheels are dirty but oh well. Going to use rust converter on the frame then prime it for winter. Probably will take wheel in over winter for a sandblast and powdercoat black.

Painted the tail before took it apart for the winter. Gives me an idea of what it will look like. Decided to go with metallic blue with neon yellow and white accents and neon yellow rims.
